The PAK™ is a thoughtfully engineered plein air painting system designed for artists who want the freedom to paint anywhere. Compact enough to fit in a backpack and lightweight enough to carry comfortably, the PAK transforms almost any standard tripod into a professional outdoor painting workstation.
Designed for the Way Artists Actually Paint
Unlike traditional pochade boxes that force artists into awkward working positions, the PAK features an ergonomic two-piece design that separates the painting surface from the mixing area. This allows your painting panel to sit comfortably at eye level while your palette remains at a natural arm height for easier color mixing and reduced fatigue during painting sessions.
At just 12 x 13 x 3 inches and weighing only 2.5 pounds, the PAK delivers maximum portability with minimal bulk. Its slim profile is comparable to carrying a laptop, making it ideal for plein air excursions.
One Box. Multiple Mediums.
The PAK adapts to the way you create. The integrated sliding tray is fully reversible to support multiple painting mediums:
- One side features brush holders and a magnetic palette knife holder ideal for oil painting
- The reverse side includes brush holders and a cup holder designed for acrylic and watercolor artists
The tray can extend from either side of the palette, making the system equally comfortable for both right- and left-handed painters.

The durable composite construction stands up to weather, transportation, and repeated outdoor use without the weight and fragility of traditional wood boxes.
An integrated wet panel holder inside the lid safely transports freshly painted work. Simply tighten the clips, close the box, and carry your painting home securely. The holder accommodates multiple panel sizes ranging from 5x5” to 8x10”.
Magnetic lid closures keep everything securely sealed for easy transport in a backpack or tote bag.
