Plein air & studio painter

I’m René Fielder, a painter who loves working outdoors (plein air) and creating still lifes in oil. My style is loose and expressive, inspired by the Impressionists, Post-Impressionists, and the old Dutch masters. I’m drawn to capturing those quick, beautiful shifts in light, color, and atmosphere—whether I’m painting a quiet park, a winding waterway, or a bright arrangement of everyday objects. For me, it’s all about finding beauty in the ordinary and reminding us how fleeting those moments can be.
