What to Paint at Anne Springs
Anne Springs offers 40 miles of maintained trails on site. You have your choice of lakes and streams, manmade structures like the Dairy Barn or suspension bridges. You might even see horses grazing in the pasture.
Plein Air Painting Experiences at Anne Springs
Anne Springs is 2,100 acres of preserved land and I've only begun to explore the opportunities for plain air painting locations. I've primarily painted near the Canteen building and on Lake Haigler. There are great spots to paint a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot or you can venture further out on mild to moderate difficulty trails. If you plan on going frequently, it's worth investing in the annual membership.
